The Retail Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of the retail pharmacy and distribution staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant medication services. This role provides direct supervision of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel while maintaining optimal workflow, staffing, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and customer service. The Supervisor serves as a clinical and operational leader, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and actively supports continuous quality improvement initiatives.
This is a full time role working Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm on-site at our South Lake Union Campus.
Provide leadership, direction, and workflow oversight to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel to ensure safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy services.
Hire, train, coach, support, develop, discipline, and evaluate pharmacy personnel to promote engagement, accountability, high performance, and professional growth.
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to support safe and compliant pharmacy practice.
Monitor and maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, organizational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, ensuring ongoing operational readiness.
Lead and support quality assurance, quality improvement, medication safety, and error prevention initiatives, including review and follow-up of safety events and implementation of corrective actions.
Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and organizational committees to support departmental objectives, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Communicate departmental goals, operational priorities, performance expectations, and key updates to staff while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and service excellence.
