The Shared Resources Specialist I/II – Preclinical Imaging is responsible for supporting the preclinical imaging needs of researchers at Fred Hutch. The Specialist will assist researchers in the use of multiple forms of imaging equipment (including Ultrasound, MRI, Optical imaging equipment), provide imaging advisory and training services on all modalities, perform specialized animal procedures for imaging, and extend support to small animal clinical services when needed.

This is a 6 month temporary role that will be onsite at our South Lake Union location.
The Imaging Specialist is classified as essential personnel and, as such, is required to work with minimal number of absences and during all Center closures except in the event of a major disaster when access to animal housing and use facilities is prohibited by governmental emergency personnel.

Shared Resources Specialist I: The hourly pay range for this position is from $29.77 to $42.39 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
Shared Resources Specialist II: The hourly pay range for this position is from $31.83 to $47.73 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
