The Corey Lab is seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to work with an interactive collaborative team of scientists. As a part of the Corey lab, Dr. Karsten Eichholz’ research is focused on using lentiviral vectors and RNA lipid nanoparticles to generate CAR T cells ex vivo and in vivo. The mission of the Corey Lab is to make discoveries that lead to development of herpes virus vaccine and novel immunotherapies of viral infections including HIV.
The successful applicant will utilize lentiviral vector and mRNA lipid nanoparticles to generate CAR T cells ex vivo and in vivo and test them in various bioassays and the nonhuman primate model. The other techniques involved will include cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA. The position will require independent research, to be eager to learn new technologies, and the ability to collaborate closely with computational biologists, biostatisticians and other colleagues.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
