The Bedford Lab in the Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology (BBE) program in the Vaccine & Infectious Disease Division (VIDD) is seeking a Graduate Research Assistant. This is a hourly Position with flexible hours.
The Research Assistant position will focus on development, refinement and utilization of epidemiological transmission models to assess dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 variant viruses. The applicant will be joining a multi-disciplinary group to work on mathematical and statistical methods to assess growth rate of SARS-CoV-2 variants based on genomic sequence data. The goal of this project is to improvement forecasting of SARS-CoV-2 variant frequencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $48.09 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
