The part-time Research Assistants (approximately 10 hours per week) will work under the supervision of Principal Investigators Heather Greenlee, ND, PhD at Fred Hutch Cancer Center and Amanda Fretts, PhD at the University of Washington School of Public Health to assist in the coordination of activities for an Andy Hill CARE fund-supported project. The research is to work in partership with American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities throughout WA state (both rural and urban) to identify existing tribal resources and programs and develop and/or tailor existing nutrition education resources focused on cancer prevention and survivorship for AI/AN in WA.
The Research Assistants will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day research activities to develop and implement the study, including developing data collection instruments, collecting and managing data, The positions require a high level of organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The candidates who fill these positions will work closely with several research team members and community partners to coordinate and support the project.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $48.09 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
