The CT Technologist Lead performs all of the duties of the technologists in his/her area of specialization. The lead role coordinates and directs the daily operations of the Department to ensure the timely completion of patient exams in accordance with the department procedures, assists with diagnostic procedures at the technical level of a senior or resource technologist in their area of expertise, as needed, and assists team members and other physicians with any/all procedures, ensuring the comfort and the safety of the patient.

 

This is a Full-Time 1.0 FTE Role that will work 4 - 10 Hour Shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Performs the duties of the CT Technologist.
  • Responsible for coordinating exam flow and technical staff assignments.
  • Accountable for the completion of daily and/or scheduled quality control on all equipment.
  • Acts as a liaison between the departments and the patients to address concerns or complaints.
  • Reports about performance of technical staff to supervisor.
  • Provides coaching and education as required.
  • Recognizes safety hazards to staff and quality concerns and reports and takes appropriate action immediately.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Degree or program that provides you the eligibility to attain certification or licensure.
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification 
  • Obtained ARRT CT certification or will acquire within 12 months of employment
  • Certified as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and currently registered and/or have an unrestricted state license.
  • Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent course, such as by the American Red Cross), and renewal required every two years.
  • Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear, concise and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands.
  • Ability to assess patients' conditions and request assistance when necessary..
  • Ability to assist in the movement of patient to and from wheelchairs, carts and radiographic tables..
  • Ability to identify issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Demonstrates initiative as evidenced by advancing technical skills, sharing knowledge with others and taking on more responsibility.
Preferred:
  • Minimum of three years technologist experience with lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in email and word processing systems.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $49.24 to $77.82 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
