The Epidemiology Program in the Public Health Sciences Division of Fred Hutch is seeking a Research Assistant to utilize statistical methods to lead analyses of spatial transcriptomic data from a breast cancer study.
The Research Assistant will lead statistical analyses of spatial transcriptomic data focused on identifying novel tumor tissue based features related to risk of recurrence across different breast cancer subtypes. This will involve learning statistical techniques and also keeping up with current literature in this field. They will disseminate study findings through submitting abstracts for presentation at scientific conferences and drafting manuscripts to be submitted to peer-reviewed journals. The duration of this position is approximately 3 months in the summer of 2025. The position does not cover tuition.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $48.09 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
