Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

A postdoctoral position is available in a lab in the Basic Sciences Division to study methods to identify host-specific viral adaptations and associated host factors.

• PhD degree and 4+ years of research experience at the postdoctoral level.
• A strong foundation in molecular and cell biology.
• Strong scientific background and familiarity with mosquito-transmitted alphaviruses, host-specific viral adaptations, and viral evolution.
• Candidates need to be highly motivated and well-organized individuals who think independently but enjoy working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $77,976 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
