The Fong lab is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to work in a collaborative environment leading research on the mechanisms of cancer immunotherapy response and resistance. The focus of our lab is to unravel the dynamic interactions governing the generation of anti-tumor immunity and apply this knowledge toward developing novel approaches for the study and treatment of cancer.

This position will focus on leveraging mouse models, cancer patient-derived samples, and engineered cell therapy models combined with single cell, spatial, and computational approaches to study the dynamics of an immune response.  The position will provide opportunities to advance translational applications in the areas of immunotherapies and disease modeling, and for collaborations with colleagues in UW and other cancer centers.  This position is ideally suited for a candidate who enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines, mentoring junior scientific investigators, and contributing to an innovative academic environment to forge new scientific directions.
