The Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research (HICOR) is a multi-disciplinary research institute whose mission is to reduce the human and economic burden of cancer. HICOR faculty conduct research in health economics, implementation science, quality of care, health care delivery, health disparities and health policy.
The Population Health Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Program is a collaborative effort between Fred Hutch and UW Medicine. Our goals are to eradicate CRC by improving screening, reducing racial, ethnic and socioeconomic disparities, and improving follow-up for those with abnormal non-invasive screening tests. We do this through quality improvement initiatives, research, community engagement, and informing local and national health policy.
HICOR is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to coordinate research and administrative activities for CRC research projects. The Project Coordinator will support Dr. Rachel Issaka’s research portfolio, with a primary focus on a multilevel intervention to increase colonoscopy completion after abnormal non-invasive CRC screening tests. This position will support all aspects of research project implementation, including developing timelines, meeting organization, monitoring study budgets, compliance and human subjects protection, protocol and research material development, data collection, and dissemination of findings. This position may also support the larger HICOR/CRC Screening Program research portfolio as additional projects come online.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in assisting the research team with a variety of research and administrative activities. The Project Coordinator works independently and demonstrates initiative in coordinating day-to-day study activities, referring project/study issues to the Project Manager and Investigators as necessary. Effective planning, prioritization, critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential to the position.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $31.21 to $46.80 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
