The Mian Lab in the Human Biology Division at Fred Hutch has an immediate opening for a Staff Scientist. The core focus of the Mian Lab is on understanding the basic biology and treatment resistance mechanisms of prostate and bladder cancer. Candidates who are excited about driving projects and leading teams in applying biochemical and molecular biology tools to investigate clinically relevant questions related to genitourinary malignancies are encouraged to apply. Prior experience with laboratory techniques to interrogate the biology of human, murine and other comparative models systems, bioinformatics, data science, machine learning, and experience with large/complex ‘omics’ data in the field of cancer research are ideal. The annual base salary range for this position is from $82,123 to $185,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
