The Geoff Hill Lab, in Fred Hutch's Translational Science & Therapeutics Division, is recruiting a Scientist / Senior Scientist with expertise in transplant immunology and/or immunotherapy. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple NIH funded research programs, including studies defining the mechanisms of cancer-specific immunity versus immune escape and pathogen-specific immunity after adoptive cell therapy. There are also active programs defining mechanisms of, and innovative treatment paradigms for immune toxicity (e.g. graft-versus-host disease and cytokine release syndrome) after stem cell transplantation and adoptive T cell therapy.
Responsibilities for this highly-skilled laboratory scientist will include: designing, performing and analyzing experiments, troubleshooting technical issues and mentoring junior lab members. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals and oversee large programs that include collaborating laboratories.

Minimum 5 years of experience at Fred Hutch or, have a minimum of 5 years of unique expertise and extensive experience at other academic institutions or in private industry.

The annual base salary range for the Senior Staff Scientist is from $94,033 to $212,030 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
The annual base salary range for the Staff Scientist position is from $82,123 to $185,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
