The Herbold Computational Biology Program in the Public Health Sciences (PHS) division is seeking a research administrator (RA) to join our team. Research administrators in the Computational Biology Program provide support to our faculty in pre- and post-award management, regulatory compliance monitoring, and general day-to-day lab operations. The role requires ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, recognize new issues or concerns that arise in a PI’s portfolio and coordinate with colleagues in other departments to resolve them. In addition to the team of RA’s within the Computational Biology Program, RA’s are supported by the PHS RA Peer Support Group. RA’s also have regular opportunities to attend conferences and workshops to further their knowledge in the field and develop their professional network.
The Research Administrator II will work under general supervision of a research administration manager and partner with faculty to support lab administration. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, an interest in continuous learning, ability to analyze and communicate complex regulatory guidelines, and a desire to work in a supportive and collegial community.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $29.42 to $44.11 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
