We seek a media-savvy, health-and-food-focused part-time Digital Editor to join the Cook for Your Life team at Fred Hutch in the Public Health Sciences Division.
Cook for Your Life is a free online resource that strives to teach healthy cooking and eating to people affected by cancer. For every stage of the cancer journey – prevention, survivorship, in-treatment symptom management – Cook for Your Life turns science-based nutrition guidelines and recommendations into easy, tasty recipes while also offering more cooking tips and nutrition advice. In order to reach a broad global audience, the website is published in English and Spanish. Multiple research studies are testing the impact of digital content on improving nutrition in cancer survivors and their families. This position is part of the research team led by Dr. Heather Greenlee.
