Responsibilities

We have one open postdoc position to study the role of RNA mis-processing in cancers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in RNA molecular biology, with additional experience in molecular cancer research and/or computational molecular biology.

  

The position will come with a competitive postdoc-level salary with great benefits for one year, with possibility of extension. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center is an independent, nonprofit research institution dedicated to the development and advancement of biomedical research. The environment is lively yet casual, with a strong emphasis on collaborative work. The Center is housed in a lovely campus next to Lake Union a short walk from downtown, and a slightly longer walk from the University of Washington. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • PhD. in molecular biology, genomics, computational biology, cell biology, or another relevant area
  • Strong research experience in RNA molecular biology
  • Clear ability for independent research
