The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education.
SCCA has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Community Sites Pharmacy Operations Manager. This position will manage the SCCA Pharmacy Services over a few of the SCCA community sites will need to provide oversight of the operations and direct supervision of pharmacy services at the SCCA ambulatory clinic pharmacies. Substantial responsibility for formulating institutional policy at the department level and assists in the oversight of annual drug expenditures. The Community Sites Pharmacy Operations Manager will also: develop, implement, and evaluate pharmacy services; resolve day-to-day practice issues at the inpatient hospital and SCCA ambulatory pharmacies; and collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient medication processes.
