    The Organization Development (OD) Program Assistant works with internal consultants who partner with organizational leaders in leadership development work, coaching, team interventions and organization-wide initiatives related to talent management and organizational culture. The most successful candidate will be a strong communicator, both verbally and written, possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take thoughtful action. The ideal candidate will work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while keeping abreast of policies, processes and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.


    Assist the Senior OD Consultants and the Director of OD and Learning and Org Initiatives in a variety of team projects, both organization-wide and client specific.


    Key tasks include:

    • Providing administrative oversight to the Coaching Program – work with the head of the coaching program to set up coaching contracts, provide tracking of coaching efforts, monitoring outcomes of coaching engagements and communicating with coaches as needed
    • Provide support in the management of projects related to organization-wide initiatives- providing meeting and event management support for large group meetings, preparing presentation decks, assisting with meeting facilitation through advanced note taking, and creating all supporting materials
    • Provide general research assistance related to benchmarking and analysis of available best-practice resources in the marketplace
    • Take on special projects that require working with other parts of HR or the organization – examples include, help with setting up the Engagement Surveys for both organizations, reaching out to internal clients to get input related to projects, and tracking evaluation of certain efforts
    • Manage all the administrative aspects of working with external suppliers (other than coaches) by initiating the contracting process and organizing first points of contact (scheduling and information to the outside supplier/consultant coming in)
    • Help to collate data from a variety of information gathering/research methods including interviews, focus groups and multi-way feedback and preparing any relevant documents i.e. reports/presentations as needed
    • Support the team as needed in developing and administering surveys via Survey Monkey, assist with data analysis and reporting
    • Provide assistance to the Director and when needed, Senior OD Consultants, for complicated scheduling situations for situations involving senior level presentations
    • Collaborate and coordinate with the Learning Team members who are the other arm of the overall department


    • High school diploma or equivalent required plus two years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • College degree preferred (ideally with an emphasis in Organization Effectiveness, Leadership, Groups or some other related areas)
    • Effective writing skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with team members and clients
    • Organizational skills related to helping plan large group meetings (scheduling rooms internally or in outside venues, work with catering and AV professionals)
    • Positive, proactive and able to consistently exercise great judgement with little guidance
    • Ability to stand confidently in front of large groups and assist with facilitation
    • Ability to analyze data and determine key themes
    • PowerPoint moderate skill level (can provide training to move to advanced PowerPoint skills)
    • Excel moderate to intermediate skill level (can provide training to move toward advanced skill level)
    • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with colleagues and professionals inside and outside the organization
    • Interest in organizational development and organization effectiveness efforts
