Responsible for the planning and administration of multiple systems and staff/instrument workstations in a scientific environment, including effective provisioning, installation/configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related network infrastructure. This individual is customer facing and functions as a systems and desktop support specialist for all Shared Resources core facilities and staff, to ensure end-users are able to operate at maximum efficiency. Also participates in technical research and development with Center IT, to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensure all systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
