    As part of the Total Rewards team, the Benefits Coordinator is responsible for participating in the administration of our employee benefit programs, providing direct customer support to our employees and maintaining benefits related information in our HRIS.


    • Serves as primary contact for all benefits to new, current and prospective employees. Answer questions regarding benefits eligibility, coverage, policies and programs. Escalate complex questions to Sr. Benefits Specialists.
    • Provide excellent customer service to all levels of employees and encourage timeliness and accuracy of completed paperwork and/or the resolution of problems.
    • Assists team members with benefit enrollment process.
    • Manages all HR system transactions for employee benefit enrollments and life event changes in Workday including maintenance of documentation to reflect benefit election changes. Conduct audits of all benefit plans to ensure accurate enrollment in Workday and with each vendor.
    • Coordinate transfer of data to carriers and third-party administrators.
    • Provide support for the annual open enrollment planning, communications and implementation process.
    • Oversees billing process for benefits related invoices, audits benefit reports and reconcile invoices and resolves discrepancies Complete benchmarking surveys.
    • Maintain employee benefit files.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations (ACA, ERISA, etc.)
    • Support LOA and Retirement Specialist(s)
    • Special Projects and related duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
    • At least 2 years of general HR experience with a focus in benefits preferred 
    • Intermediate knowledge of HRIS databases preferred, prior Workday experience highly preferred
    • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and Access
    • High commitment to customer service to our internal and external clients.
    • Possess a high level of integrity – must always show good judgment and confidentiality
    • Willingness to problem-solve creatively
    • Dependable and highly detailed individual with strong organizational skills
    • Highly motivated, results driven and able to work independently as well as with the team
    • Clear and effective oral and written presentation of ideas/recommendation
