    The Program Assistant serves as part of the Donor Engagement program within the Philanthropy department. This temporary position provides administrative support for various tasks within the Obliteride team. The Program Assistant is expected to take initiative, execute core responsibilities collaboratively, and work well within a complex organization. Must maintain professionalism, show flexibility, be customer service oriented, have a strong attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and changing priorities, and remain composed under pressure of deadlines. The Program Assistant must be able to effectively communicate the mission, values, and scope of the institution.


    • Works collaboratively with, and provides dedicated administrative support to the Director, Obliteride and members of the Obliteride team, as well as colleagues Philanthropy-wide, performing tasks essential to the successful production of Obliteride
    • Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
      • Raiser’s Edge action entry support for members of the Obliteride team
      • Creation of requisitions and purchase orders
      • Lunch & Learn calendar and related materials management
      • Incentive mailings
      • Organization of supplies, merchandise, swag, and any related inventory within office and warehouse
      • Volunteer and temp staff confidential background checks
      • Execution of “Turn Campus Orange”
      • Execution of social media, as outlined by Donor Communications team
      • Support of Bike to Work events
    • Executes additional special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
    • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive materials and information in printed, electronic or verbal form


    Summary of Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Two years of experience in non-profit development or a related field preferred
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
    • Experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
    • Experience with Convio preferred
