    The System Administrator I is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of computer hardware, software, and applications. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving.


    • Implement, install, configure, monitor, update, troubleshoot and evaluate existing and new computing and information systems
    • Provide end-user support, resolving technical issues
    • Provide technical assistance for all operating systems (PC, Mac and Ubuntu)
    • Assist with evaluating and recommending hardware and software
    • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
    • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
    • Able to work well independently and as part of a team
    • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills


    • Two years supporting a large number of users in a comparable systems environment
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
