    Clinical Reasearch Support (CRS) is the central clinical trials office for the Fred Hutch/University of Washington Cancer Consoritum. The CRS Training Program Manager is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and customer focused individual to support the training program for clinical research staff and faculty. Working closely with the Training Manager, this position will coordinate meetings and training events, provide general onboarding support, help track, revise, and facilitate the review of documents, SOPs, policies, and training-related content in SharePoint and LMS, and support training communications and program monitoring. This role will also interface with various roles within the department and across the institution partners.

     

    This is a temporary, six-month position.

    Responsibilities

    • Workshops and training events: Organize and coordinate logistics including room reservations, catering, equipment-set up, signage displays, and registration table support, assist with agenda, slide deck, and support materials preparation, manage events and registration page in the LMS, disseminate training certificates for review and posting, collect, enter, and disseminate evaluation results to speakers, track and confirm attendance.
    • Onboarding/Customer Support: Arrange and address system access issues, maintain and update email distribution lists, track and perform quality checks of onboarding metrics, maintain checklists, and assist in the creation of other process tools.
    • SOP Library Management: Coordinate and manage the library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring documents are reviewed annually and disseminated/posted appropriately.
    • Curriculum development: Help create training and other support materials for training sessions and workshops, update tracker for annual revisions.
    • eLearning: Verify training completions, generate and disseminate training reports, review and beta-test internally developed online modules, and upload and manage training content in the LMS.
    • Communications: Compose and disseminate training announcements, newsletters, continuing education confirmation letters, and other types of communications to clinical research staff, and handle outgoing communication or questions to meeting/ event participants.
    • Meeting support: Coordinate project meetings including scheduling and conference room reservation, photocopying, and take meeting minutes.
    • Program Improvement: Assist with the tracking of training program metrics, monitor results and report findings to Training Manager.
    • Other duties: Maintain inventory of supplies for training and onboarding, help create performance tools and templates, assist with the tracking, revision, and posting of documents and policies, and support content updates on SharePoint site and outfacing website. Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in HR or Communication is required
    • Prior administrative/coordination experience (minimum 1 year)
    • Experience in clinical trial environment or non-profit preferred
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
    • Detail oriented, analytical skills, and highly organized
    • Superior customer service with both department and external customers
    • Promotes and demonstrates a high level of professionalism
    • Ability to work independently and execute tasks with minimal supervision
    • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities to meet tight deadlines
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and SharePoint
