The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. This position supervises the Inventory Control Tech staff in day-to-day operations of Inventory Control within the Materials Management department: Must keep abreast of changes in medical supply inventory and procedures related to departments in order to efficiently carry out daily duties under the direction of the Inventory Control Tech Manager.
In collaboration with the Inventory Control Tech Manager, the incumbent hires, trains, supervises and evaluates the Inventory Control Tech staff, and stays informed of current personnel requirements as set down by State and Federal Government agencies. The supervisor actively explores new personnel techniques, processes and methods and applies these principles to interactions with staff through effective communications and teaching methods.
