    The CTMS Program Office is a tri-institutional office housed within the Fred Hutch Research Administration department providing implementation and operational support services for the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) that is jointly managed by the Fred Hutch, the University of Washington and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. 

    The CTMS QC Analyst is a hands-on analyst role within the CTMS Program Office team that will support the detailed hands-on execution of CTMS Data QC, including developing QC findings, maintaining SOPs and QC reports, study team outreach, parallel office outreach, and metrics tracking. The scope of the QC Program will expand as new functionality is implemented and use of the CTMS grows.

    The CTMS QC Analyst should have passion for clinical trials workflow data, attention to detail, persistence and critical thinking skills. The role reports to the QC Program Manager within the CTMS Program Office.


    • Develop deep understanding of CTMS data and workflows and carefully review QC reports to identify where study teams are not adhering to documented workflows
    • Conduct study team outreach, manage follow up questions, and track study team progress on resolving QC issues
    • Maintain detailed logs of QC findings, and communication outreaches to be able to facilitate metrics development
    • Develop simple, and scalable processes to summarize and communicate QC findings to study teams
    • Translate QC findings into larger patterns that require additional user training or SOP clarifications
    • Help in defining the operationalization plan for all QC topics that are owned by the CTMS Program office including development of SOPs and working practice guidelines
    • Develop QC metrics for QC program manager review
    • Define business requirements for CTMS reports that will be required to support the QC process
    • Identify operational process improvements that come to light through the QC process and raise them to the QC Program Manager
    • Other data analysis and support duties as assigned by QC Program Manager or CTMS Program Director


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Clinical Research Operations or health care operations with a focus on data management
    • Experience with CTMS systems; OnCore experience is desired
    • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and trends identification
    • Superior organizational skills, high level of reliability and attention to detail mindset
