    As a SharePoint Analyst, you’ll work with fellow technical teams and a host of internal customers to design and develop new solutions and processes, enhance existing workflows and rollout features that will improve productivity across the Fred Hutch campus.


    The SharePoint Analyst is a member of the Enterprise Applications Services team reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications Services. Key responsibilities for this position will be focused on learning the business processes for all divisions at Fred Hutch and helping to build solutions to enhance these processes through use of the SharePoint platform. This position will also play a supportive role in increasing adoption of the SharePoint platform while functioning as a subject matter expert (SME) and evangelist.


    • Routinely engage science teams to understand their unique business and technical requirements and design appropriate SharePoint solutions
    • Break down new solutions criteria into technical specifications and stories for developers
    • Participate in planning and release functions leveraging agile Scrum methodology
    • Track team KPIs and generate weekly and monthly reports demonstrating progress
    • Create customer facing technical documentation for adoption and steady state support
    • Plan and communicate learning activities to increase knowledge, raise awareness and drive engagement of the SharePoint platform
    • Occasionally triage and troubleshoot support tickets while providing excellent customer service
    • Review, test and validate software deliverables to ensure they meet stakeholder criteria
    • Assist the team in maintaining a working virtual knowledgebase of information and learnings


    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (such as Information Systems, Business Administration, etc.) OR 5+ years of relevant SharePoint work experience
    • 4+ years’ experience in an Analyst or similar role supporting enterprise level SharePoint installations

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Knowledge of functionality and features across various SharePoint versions including 2010, 2013, 2016 and SharePoint Online
    • Experience with SharePoint Designer and working knowledge of Nintex and Flow.
    • Hands on experience designing, building and implementing SharePoint workflows
    • Knowledge of SharePoint sites including templates, master pages, style libraries and web parts
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay information between technical and non-technical teams
    • Strong organizational and planning skills and able to adapt quickly to changing environments

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Change management best practices and approaches to prepare and support individuals and teams through new technology rollouts
    • Knowledge of InfoPath forms
    • Web development experience (JQuery, JS, CSS, REST APIs + other modern tools)
    • Previous experience working within a nonprofit or scientific research institution
    • Experience teaching or training individuals with varying levels of SharePoint experience
    • Experience migrating SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online
    • Experience working in an environment with PPI/PHI
