    Responsibilities

    • Abstract clinical research data from patient medical charts. Data include diagnosis information, pathology results, imaging results, medication data, procedure notes, and more. 
    • Key enter data into Clinical Division research data base, or record on specific data forms for electronic research files.
    • Check research files for missing data and download records as needed.
    • Check for protocol compliance.
    • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Requires minimum 1 year of medical chart review/data abstraction experience.
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ability to read and interpret lab, pathology, imaging and other medical documents.
    • Must be able to be credentialed through University of Washington.
    • Must be able to complete training for access to patient information at Seattle Children’s.
    • Required to take HIPPA training, and Human Subjects Protection Program training.
    • Prior Oncology experience preferred
