    Responsibilities

    Energetic hard-working individual needed to help with laboratory-based work joining the J. Lee Nelson lab, an interdisciplinary team investigating human diseases, including autoimmune disease, neurobiology and cancer.

    • DNA extraction
    • Quantitative PCR
    • In situ hybridization (FISH)
    • Blood processing
    • Data entry
    • Stocking and maintaining laboratory reagents and equipment
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • College level work that includes hands-on experience in biology, chemistry or related sciences required. 
    • Prefer an individual with future plans to pursue biomedical research. 
    • Must be organized, meticulous and reliable.
