    Focus for the Accounting Specialist III will be coordination, processing and payment of International invoices. Successful candidate will work with HVTN and Global Oncology, ensuring that all accounts payable documents are received, properly coded, authorized, and entered for payment; be responsible for International and Wire payment processes, as well as month-end close for International business units.  In addition, the successful candidate will perform domestic accounts payable responsibilities, as time permits.


      • Monitor International email accounts for invoices and correspondence
      • Using Hyland AnyDoc and OnBase software, prepare International vendor invoices for payment
      • Reconcile vendor statements to company records, investigating discrepancies and initiating corrections within department guidelines as necessary
      • Communicate with end users by phone and/or email to assist with any payment issues
      • Communicate with vendors by phone and/or email to reconcile accounts as well as educate domestic vendors regarding FHCRC tax status
      • Assist in check & ACH payment audit prior to release of payment
      • Review taxability of domestic transactions
      • Other duties as assigned


      • Three to five years experience in accounting or accounts payable
      • Experience with Washington State sales/use tax regulations
      • Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Well organized with attention to detail
      • PeopleSoft and Hyland OnBase experience advantageous
