Manages the operation of the Immunotherapy Clinical Research program. Develops policies, procedures, and methods for project/study implementation.


The incumbent reports to the Clinical Research Manager. Has responsibility for coordinating all aspects of study/project operation. Special skills and knowledge are applied in coordinating project/study operations, in assisting in developing methods and materials.


Perform some or all of the following responsibilities:


  1. Manage data, timelines, and progress for a portfolio of 20+ phase I/II clinical research studies. Track study progress, prepare reports, and lead/organize clinical operations meeting.


  1. Coordinate research activities for a group of 20+ staff, ensuring all projects are implemented and completed according to project/study timelines Responsible for coordination between clinical trials operations and financial teams.


  1. Manage teams creating new policies and procedures according to protocol, IRB, grant/contract and Center specifications, ensuring high quality, timely work. Manage implementation of large projects that will support long-term growth in the program.


  1. Manage projects for the clinical research team, including development of research materials. Edit and revise materials in support of the team.


  1. Serve as liaison for Immunotherapy, representing the project or study to other Center departments, funding sources, affiliated individuals or institutions, and outside organizations. 


  1. Attend committee meetings,create timelines and project plans to ensure objectives have been met, and coordinate follow-up activities and facilitating the flow between study stages.


  1. Assist in the analysis of project/study data in order to develop and track metrics.         


  1. Track project/study budget in collaboration with clinical research finance team


  1. Produce special and recurring reports.


Performs other responsibilities as required


  • BA/BS in related field required.
  • MA/MS desired.
  • Minimum of two years post-master's or three years post-bachelor's project management experience in a research setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience with clinical trials is preferred.
