Outstanding, experienced technician/scientist needed to help establish and manage a molecular genotyping laboratory capable of executing state of the art genotyping methodologies for disease association studies. This laboratory will collaborate with local, national, and international laboratories carrying out anthropological, clinical, and basic disease studies aimed at a better understanding and development of data and tools for diagnosis and treatment of a variety of human diseases.
Individual will be engaged in and responsible for the laboratory production of a group of 4 to 6 people. Data produced will support basic and applied research activities ongoing at the FHCRC and in the international scientific community. The ability to manage personnel and take responsibility for laboratory effectiveness will therefore be a major requirement. Other requirements included:
